The Royal Family.

A seven piece French/English baroque psychedelic outfit from Toronto, Ontario consisting of members of Possum (Ideé Fixe Records), ROY (Ideé Fixe Records), Hieronymus Harry (Echodelick Records), The John Denver Airport Conspiracy (Cardinal Fuzz, Fuzzed Up & Astromoon Records, Little Cloud Records), and Wine Lips (Stomp Records).

Our LP was recorded straight to tape over 2021 - 2022 by Patrick Leffler (ROY, and Possum), and mastered by Jeff McMurrich (the creator of Ideé Fixe Records, and Ansible Editions) using all analog equipment.

During the writing process, we found our main inspirations being Giles, Giles, and Fripp, Kaleidoscope (UK), The Fairport Convention, Soft Machine, Francois Hardy, Brigitte Bardot, & Zouzou. The genesis of the LP revolves around the metamorphosis of a butterfly; and the becoming, and realizing of the self.
